ANTIQUE DANIEL BOOTH HEMPSTED COIN SILVER SPOON

This item is a rare ANTIQUE DANIEL BOOTH HEMPSTED (1784-1852) COIN SILVER SPOON (see pics). This spoon dates to the early 1800's (likely 1810 to 1830). Spoon measures 10 inches long and weights 36.5 grams. This spoon bears an alternate mark of early Daniel Booth Hempsted products which is an H between two stars (actually two asterisks). There are no other marks.

Coin silver from the early 1800's is typically 900 purity (90% silver).

Condition: Excellent (has some light tarnish). No wear. Please note that the top of the spoon has been engraved with the letters 'B J'.
