This antique thimble was made by SIMONS BROTHERS and likely dates to the late 1800's. Thimble is size 7. Thimble bears the company mark on the inside.

Simons Brothers & Co. (or Simons, Bro. & Co.) was a prominent Philadelphia-based American manufacturer, founded by George Washington Simons in 1840. They were known for high-quality gold and silver items, especially innovative thimbles, pencil cases, and jewelry.
