RARE 1950's PNW NWA WRESTLER PHOTO - PEPPER GOMEZ

This rare black and white photo print dates to the 1950's and captures the image of Wrestler PEPPER GOMEZ.

This vintage photo print measures 6-5/8 x 4-5/8 inches. 

This is a TYPE 1 photograph. Type 1 photos are first-generation photographs developed from the original negative within approximately two years of when the picture was taken.

PEPPER GOMEZ had a huge career in wrestling (debut was 1953) and worked in several regions including his early work in the Pacific Northwest (PNW). Pepper had numerus matches at the Portland Armory in the mid 1950's and returned a few times in the 1960's and '70's. His earliest work in Portland was 1954. Pepper was also a body builder in the 1940's and was given the nickname "The Man with the Cast Iron Stomach" due to his extremely strong abdominals. This is a great image of one of 1950's wrestling's very best.

Very nice condition. No tears or pin holes. NOTE: The NO COPYING security mark does not exist on the actual photo.
