RARE 1960's PNW NWA WRESTLER PHOTO - RICKY WALDO

This rare black and white photo print dates to the 1960's and captures the image of Wrestler RICKY WALDO. The image is believed to have been taken in Portland Oregon at the Portland Armory (backstage photo). Ricky is wearing a belt in this photo. It is known that he was part of two tag teams that won titles in the early 1960's.

This vintage photo print measures 6-5/8 x 4-5/8 inches.

RICKY WALDO has wrestling history dating from 1956 to 1965. He worked in a few different regions, most notably Stampede Wrestling. He also wrestled Lou Thesz in 1957 for the NWA World Heavyweight title. Lou Thesz won.
