RARE 1950's PNW NWA WRESTLER PHOTO - TOUGH TONY BORNE

This rare black and white photo print dates to the 1950's and captures the image of Wrestler "TOUGH" TONY BORNE. The photograph was likely taken in Portland Oregon at the Portland Armory during a show (backstage photo).

This vintage photo print measures 6-5/8 x 4-5/8 inches.

In the 1950s, TONY BORNE wrestled mostly in Texas and Pacific Northwest territories, becoming a mainstay in the NWA Pacific Northwest under promoter Don Owen. In 1953, he wrestled for a while in Mexico. He retired from grappling in 1981. Tony was one of the PNW most memorable wrestlers.
