Vintage Parker 21 Fountain Pen - Trough Clip

Circa 1951-65

$45.00

This pen is a Parker "21" fountain pen with trough style shirt clip.

The Parker 21 is a vintage, durable, and affordable, hood-nibbed fountain pen introduced in 1948 and was a cheaper alternative to the Parker 51. It features an aerodynamic "squeeze" filler, a steel or "octanium" alloy nib, and a plastic body with a metal cap. Produced until 1965, the 21 is known for being a reliable, everyday writer available in multiple, including black, blue, red, and grey.

CONDITION: Overall condition is very nice. There are no tooth marks. Nib looked fine under magnification. The ink sac is intact but has not been tested for holes/leaking. The cap has extremely fine marks on it (near the bottom edge) that look like letters (a previous owners name?).
