VINTAGE STERLING SILVER THIMBLE - SIZE 10

This is a sterling silver size 10 sewing thimble. This thimble was made by Ketcham & McDougall and bears the company mark on the inside (MK&D).

"MKD" (or M K & D) thimbles were produced by the Ketcham & McDougall company, a prominent American manufacturer based in New York. The company was highly active in the production of high-quality sterling silver and gold thimbles from approximately 1875 to the 1930s.
